I discovered Katawa Shoujo a few days ago. A friend of mine posted a link to KS-related content so I googled the original game. It wasn't only "worth it", it somehow changed my view on relationships (note: I'm a guy who got dumped a lot but I'm still searching at it gets better every single time. You surely experienced it.).

After I finished Shizune's route I felt a bit sad. Then I decided to try Lilly's route. I started to like her really quickly. Not only because of her gracefulness and beauty (and tea :) ) but also because of her caring attitude to other people. Especially Hanako, it was like some mother-daughter relationship they were dependent on each other. If you add Hisao they would form a beautiful family. Their own small family.

Another thing was that although she seemed confident and kind-hearted to (almost) everyone, she had her own shadows and pains, a broken heart and complicated relationships with parents. Like me. That's why I liked her even more.

I don't want to sound like a crybaby or adolescent on hormones, I'm a grown-up guy. But although I haven't already completed the whole route (I'm on Act 4 now) it almost made me cry a few times. I told often myself that it's just a game, not a real world, that I can't fall in love with a cartoon character but... I realized that THIS is what I'm looking for, a girlfriend with Lilly's traits. One of my friends has similar girlfriend, so people like Lilly aren't just a fairytale. I just need to get up and continue finding.

I don't know if guys from 4LS are even reading this Wiki (it doesn't matter) but I'd like to say THANK YOU. Thank you for helping me.
