Aoi appears only once in the Beta version of Katawa Shoujo, during Hanako's path. In this appearance, she and Miki come looking for Hisao at classroom 3-3. Saki ask Hisao if he can deliver a gift to Lilly by their classmates (at this moment, in this Beta version, Lilly is in the hospital because a minor quirurgical intervention).

At the end of Shizune's route, Aoi and her friend [[Keiko]] are seen in the student council room, receiving a rundown from Shizune about how to run things.


At that time, Miki reveals that she and Aoi have a bet, about Hisao/Lilly relationship which is won by Aoi.
In the beta version of the game, she appears during [[Hanako Ikezawa|Hanako]]'s true ending. She and [[Miki Miura]] ask [[Hisao Nakai]] to deliver a gift from Aoi's classmates to [[Lilly Satou]], who is currently hospitalized. It is also stated that she had a bet going with Miki that Hisao and Lilly would end up dating, which Miki won.


In the final version of the story of Hanako, this scene does not appear.

In this original beta, the Hanako True Ending comes from the Lily's path. In some time during this path, the history change to the Hanako's. That's the reason because the bet between Miki an Aoi it's about Lilly and Hisao dating.

Aoi is a student at Yamaku Academy. She is one of the successors of the student council after its previous members, Shizune Hakamichi and Misha, graduate.
