Emi survives the crash but she lost not only just her legs but her father as well. [[Nurse|A doctor]] saves her from the crash and starts helping her to be able to walk again in her new found prosthetic legs. Even though she visits her father's grave from time to time, she did not attend the memorial service due to her being still in the hospital. Because her recovery took an entire year, Emi enrolled into Yamaku Academy one year late.
