Natsume Ooe (大江 夏目 Ōe Natsume) is a student in Hisao's homeroom class who has rheumatoid arthritis and heterochromia that she wears glasses to compensate for the low vision in her right eye.
Along with Naomi Inoue (and later in Lilly's route, Hanako) she is a member of the Newspaper Club.
Etymology[edit | edit source]
- The name Natsume means "summer" (夏) (natsu) and "eye" (目) (me).
- Natsume's surname Ooe means "big, great" (大) (o) and "bay, inlet" (江) (e).
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Natsume is a "moefied" version of Aura, a developer for Four Leaf Studios (source).
- Students with visual impairment are normally delegated to class 3-2, like Lilly Satou and Kenji Setou. However, Natsume's ailment is likely not strong enough to necessitate this.
