Don't worry, I am not one to block a new user or tell someone off for a few editing/formatting mistakes. That stuff happens. Anyway, the edit button is at the top of every page, and it will take you to the editing window, much like what you used to leave a message on my page. Alot of editing on wikis is mostly raw text, (with links being placed within square brackets (i.e. <nowiki>[[Hanako Ikezawa]]</nowiki> would provide a direct link to Hanako's article). Aside from that, I'm not much of a teacher, I apologize, but my best advice is to make great use of the '''Preview''' button. It's useful for seeing what the changes you make look like before actually submitting them, and if anything, looking at what's already on the page and comparing it to what it looks like in the editing window. "Practice makes perfect" is always a good way to go. If all else fails, There are a few good help pages on editing I can provide. Wikia's version can be found '''[[w:Help:Editing|here]]''', Wikipedia's is '''[[wikipedia:Help:Editing|here]]''', and lastly, while seemingly off topic, '''<span class="plainlinks">[http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Help:Editing Bulbapedia's page]</span>''' on the same thing is rather useful, albeit a bit comedic and having some things specific to their own site, but useful nonetheless, in my opinion. Also, Freakin' kudos for recognizing Yumiko. I 100%'ed Kajitsu and am waiting for Meikyuu to be finished. Koestl's working on a separate official translation so it's gonna be a little bit before he starts it up again. It's making him actual money, so I can respect that. {{User:Schiffy/Sig1|04:30,6/24/2014}}

Welcome[edit source]

Hi, welcome to the Katawa Shoujo Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the Hanako Ikezawa page.

Before you begin editing here, please note that the Katawa Shoujo Wiki is not a walkthrough site. If you are looking for Katawa Shoujo walkthroughs, GameFAQs is a better option.

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! Schiffy (talk) 02:43, June 24, 2014 (UTC)

Re: Editing[edit source]

Don't worry, I am not one to block a new user or tell someone off for a few editing/formatting mistakes. That stuff happens. Anyway, the edit button is at the top of every page, and it will take you to the editing window, much like what you used to leave a message on my page. Alot of editing on wikis is mostly raw text, (with links being placed within square brackets (i.e. [[Hanako Ikezawa]] would provide a direct link to Hanako's article). Aside from that, I'm not much of a teacher, I apologize, but my best advice is to make great use of the Preview button. It's useful for seeing what the changes you make look like before actually submitting them, and if anything, looking at what's already on the page and comparing it to what it looks like in the editing window. "Practice makes perfect" is always a good way to go. If all else fails, There are a few good help pages on editing I can provide. Wikia's version can be found here, Wikipedia's is here, and lastly, while seemingly off topic, Bulbapedia's page on the same thing is rather useful, albeit a bit comedic and having some things specific to their own site, but useful nonetheless, in my opinion. (/rant)

Also, Freakin' kudos for recognizing Yumiko. I 100%'ed Kajitsu and am waiting for Meikyuu to be finished. Koestl's working on a separate official translation so it's gonna be a little bit before he starts it up again. It's making him actual money, so I can respect that. Ah yes, the pains of annoying assignments. I start back up in late August, hopefully my workload isn't too crippling. That wasn't supposed to be a KS joke, I swear. Koestl is the guy that translated Grisaia no Kajitsu, and he's currently working on the second of three games in the series, Grisaia no Meikyuu: Le Labrinthe De La Grisaia, so I'm waiting for him to start back up again once he's done with the official translation project that makes him dough.
