Rin was the last character arc I played as I found her extremely boring and unremarkable in Act I. (Ended up hating Lilly even more, but that's neither here nor there.) When I finally got around to playing her, I was completely taken aback. The story is fabulous, the writing is so good. I just finished playing her arc for the second time (about half a year later), and even knowing what was coming, I still went slowly and took the time to read every line and absorb everything. Much more than I was expecting from a dating sim. Even after finishing the game, Rin is a character who stuck with me. Really outstanding work. I have new respect for the crew who made Katawa Shoujo after playing Rin.
