Hisao visits to the Nurse for his check up and mentioned that Emi got a cold for today,there Hisao arrives at the roof and began to watch the sky,while waiting Rin arrives and ask about why Emi wasn't here bringing lunch for them,to her surprise that she was sick.But unexpectedly Rin sneezes and Hisao help her wipe her nose with his handkerchief. While waiting for the school bell the duo's talk to each other about the school and living a normal life,there Rin complains that she should be afraid of herself when she changes and surprisingly hugs Hisao,Rin confesses that she was not very good at hugging cause one time Emi hugs her and got surprised ending up kicking her stomach,after the hug Rin offers Hisao to visit someplace if they had time.After class Hisao and Emi finally got together and on her way visit Rin to bring her a cold medicine cause she got sick.

Rin reveals that she can't understand people cause there like ''jellyfish'' to her and confesses that she never had friends(despite Emi is with her)but Hisao really wanted to became her friend making Rin happy and confesses that her only friends where pencils,paints and papers cause she's not good at words and Hisao resloves that she just forgets any words she knew causing Rin smiles at him,then they began to spend together until sunset Hisao decided to either quit or continue in the art club. Rin finally decided to accept and determined to work in Sae's gallery,while the duo's returning to their dorms Hisao feels that their friendship is about to put to the test that the distance between them is in his grasp.

Hisao stated that this was not friends should do again Rin ask that they can stop being friends to which Hisao still declines then Hisao apologizes that he yells at her but Rin resolves that he should let it go and proceed to had sex but was interrupted when Rin ask that is it that she will never be alone causing Hisao to answer that he someone will be there for you to help you get dried up from the rain,then they continue.After waking up Rin invites him to go somewhere with her then impatiently ask to dressed her up during Hisao helping her get dressed she starts to speak backwards and stated that Emi is better than this but stated that her chest is the same size has his,then after helping her get dressed Rin starts running to the forest Hisao follows her up to where the sea of dandelions that where now shedding seeds.

Hisao goes to the gallery and meet up with Nomiya and Sae and saw one of Rin's work even some had already been sold then Sae told Hisao about the story of two friends (Picasso and Cicasso) then Rin appears and run outside Hisao follows and covers her from the rain with his umbrella then the duo's start walking together then after the rain stops Rin moves away from Hisao and tells him that she looks for someone that can understand her.But Hisao cynically responds that it doesn't matter that if someone can see the way she feels and people are always alone causing Rin to get upset even more and decides to accept a scholarship in Tokyo leaving Yamaku for good. Rin hugs Hisao and tells him that she can hug someone on her own and pursue to became an artist Rin tells Hisao to forget about her for now on.Then Rin walks away from Hisao for good.
