Rin is a slim girl of a slightly above average height, standing taller than both [[Shizune Hakamichi|Shizune]] and [[Emi Ibarazaki|Emi]]. She has close-cropped auburn hair and dark green eyes. She is usually seen wearing a school uniform, but unlike most girls she wears the boys' uniform with her sleeves tied up in knots, and a pair of black sandals. However when Hisao [[Rin's route|befriended her]] Rin becames open with him and soon acknowledgedes him as her friend,however when Rin soon develop a romantic feelings for him but cannot express them straight or in another way instead she uses her artistic skills in order to use her art as a emotional conduit for Hisao and everyone but in exchange that she became much more distant towards everyone,even Emi who was her long time friend before Hisao.

Rin can also be prone to depression as when no one understand her art was her way to express herself in order for everyone to acknowledge her but instead they see it as a fascinating work of art promoting her feel that she was alone.

The reason she cries in the classroom was because "learned" it from others then soon she then naturally cries when she realizes that Hisao tells her that Nomiya was trying to make her that she didn't wanted to be and also Hisao tries to make their relationship beyond friends,Rin also cries when she then finally confesses her feelings for Hisao in the hilltop on a dandelions.
