I was comparing Hanako's birthday party scenes from both Hanako's and Lilly's routes. In Hanako's route, the effects of intoxication allowed Hanako to temporarily overcome her usual social anxiety, which made Hisao felt uneasy when he was momentarily alone with Hanako in her room. In other words, it took a while before Hanako finally fell asleep. On the other hand, in Lilly's route, there was no such interaction between them. Since Hanako is only a supporting cast in Lilly's route, they decided to make less work for themselves by simply having her absolutely plastered! :D
