I had the opposite experience...ended up liking Rin just a tad more than Lilly...though I waffle on this.

I'm in final edits of a short story that follows up on the Rin "good ending" - set a number of years later.  It was a story that quite literally popped into my head from start to finish while I was sitting at my desk at work.  I skipped two telecons to capture it on paper in rough draft (no one noticed -- government job, so go figure) and I was completely, emotionally drained at the end!

I haven't done any serious writing in 16 years (work & family can do that to you) but this was a true spark I had to follow.  Unsure where/how to post it once it's done.  I'm not very net-saavy.
