Yes but the route after all is Lilly's, inevitably Hanako would find out and wonderfully be re-united but the ending stresses that now that Hisao is there for Lilly, and she doesn't have to mask her feelings, they can move together towards their future as a couple. Sure they could have put Hanako in there but it just wouldn't be as fitting as it is with just the two of them together at last.
