Miki Miura
Miki Miura (三浦 美貴 Miura Miki ) is a member of the Yamaku Academy track team. She only ever interacts with Hisao Nakai during Hanako Ikezawa's route, in which she talks to him about Hanako.
Appearance
Miki is an a girl with an athletic build, long brown hair, dark brown eyes, and noticeably darker skin (compared to most girls in Yamaku).
Like Rin Tezuka, she wears a male school shirt but keeps a skirt over her trousers. In other routes she's seen wearing a PE uniform.
Her most distinct feature is her missing left hand. Instead, she has a bandaged stump. No explanation is given, but the leaked Beta version reveals that she lost her hand in an accident with her father's power tools.
Personality
Not much know about Miki, but she is introduced when Hisao befriended Hanako Ikezawa. Miki is a cheerful girl who becomes aware of Hisao's feelings for Hanako, despite his denial. She dislikes math[1] and prefers casual names to formality[2].
Like most of her class, Miki is aware of Hanako's panic attack. She shows concern for her, even though she doesn't know her well.
Trivia
- Miki's birthday was given on the Katawa Shoujo Forums by Suriko on 2/19/2010.
- According to Lilly Satou, Miki is the Track and Field team's second-fastest runner after Emi Ibarazaki.[3]
- On December 24th 2014, Suriko released a Miki "path" called Summer's Clover. It is not canon, but does provide a musical theme for Miki named "Carefree Days". This theme is not in the game. The route was made into a playable game (without sprites).
