List of Minor Characters

This is a list of the minor characters that appear in Katawa Shoujo.

Fubuki

This very well could be be Rin's mom

Fubuki may (or may not) be Rin's mother. Many picture were drawn in the now-defunct Mishimmi of Rin's parents. While none of them were specifically stated to be canon, Fubuki is one of the few to get shown in multiple artworks and the only one of them to get a name. Her unnamed husband is shown to have a goatee and the same hair color as Rin.

Fubuki (吹雪): Meaning: “Blizzard” “Fubuki” signifies a powerful and fierce wind, often associated with winter storms.

Hachisame

Hachisame is a non-canon character who has been featured in several works on the Mishimmie. She is stated to spend most of her time swimming in the pool at Yamaku.

In her "monster girl" form, she is depicted as a "sharktopus," while in her "realistic" form, she appears as a multiple amputee with no legs. She also wears a masculine uniform shirt and tie along with a uniform skirt.

Her name means "eight" (八) (hachi) and "shark" (鮫) (same).

Hiroyuki Satou

Hiroyuki Satou is the father of Lilly and Akira, the husband of Karla Satou, and the brother of Mayoi Satou. He is a Japanese businessman who visited Scotland for work, later meeting and falling in love with the journalist Karla.

After getting married, he moved to Japan with Karla and bore two children with her. Sometime after this, he moved back to Scotland with his wife due to his work forcing him to relocate.

Hitomi

Hitomi is a non-canon character who has been featured in several works on the Mishimmie. She is close friends with Hachisame.

In her "monster girl" form, she is depicted as a cyclops, while in her "realistic" form, she appears to wear an eye patch over the scarred area where her right eye should be.

Her names means "pupil of the eye" (瞳) (hitomi).

Mayoi Hakamichi

Mayoi Hakamichi, born Mayoi Satou, is the mother of Shizune and Hideaki, as well as the wife of Jigoro Hakamichi and the sister of Hiroyuki Satou.

At an unknown point, she met and married Jigoro, later giving birth to two children with him.

Moriya

Moriya is a student in class 3-2 (for those who are partially and fully blind). They are only mentioned in Act 1, when Hisao goes to visit Lilly in her classroom as they prepare for the festival.

Ibarazaki (father)

Mr. Ibarazaki is the late father of Emi Ibarazaki and the husband of Meiko Ibarazaki. He was the one who taught Emi how to run, often inviting her on his morning exercises. However, one fateful day, he was caught in a car crash along with his daughter, losing his life.

Ikezawa (father)

Mr. Ikezawa is the late father of Hanako Ikezawa. Ten years before the events of the main game, he was burned to death after his house caught on fire.

Ikezawa (mother)

Mrs. Ikezawa is the late mother of Hanako Ikezawa. Ten years before the events of the main game, her house caught on fire, leading to her death. In her last moments, she attempted to shield her daughter's body from the flames, saving her life.

Shiraki

Shiraki is a student in an unknown classroom. He is described as an average-looking guy with dyed brown hair.

During the festival, they run a stall where you throw balls to knock over bottles. When Hisao, Misha, and Shizune visit his stall, he thanks the latter for her help with making it, before being pestered into giving Shizune and her friends a free game.

His name means "white tree."

Track Team Captain

The Track Team Captain is, as his name suggests, the captain of Yamaku's track team. Neither his name or physical appearance is given in-game, but he is often mentioned by Emi in her route.

He is described as friendly and supportive, which is shown when he calls Emi to make sure she is okay after acquiring an infection in her leg. Yuuko also mentions how he tends to visit the Shanghai along with Emi.

Because of this, Hisao initially believes that he is romantically interested in Emi; she later clarifies that he is gay, though mentioning that she used to have a crush on him before she learned this. The captain also admitted to her that he enjoys anal sex, recommending it to Emi and saying that the sports equipment shed is an ideal location to try it out.
