Just a small idea I had on my mind; the game is set in Japan, they might think different that in the U.S.A. Many people think is a disease, something to do with the body. If the game were set in the '60s, that would be a viable theory, but it's supposed to be set around the time it was actually released (somewhere between 2007 - 2012), which is long after anyone practicing medicine in any manner considered homosexuality as an "irregularity" or "mental disease".
At least you could have searched for info before pulling things out of your ass.
